Day 1

Of course, we all know that all vacations have bad spots. Mine was absolutely horrible. But the first day was probably one of the better ones, even though it too was awful!

Night before- I went to go watch my little brothers football game. He wasn't on the football team, he was in the band. When I arrived to the game-late as usual- it was about eight minutes into the game before we, of course, started losing. Into the late part of the second quarter, the team got pumped up and scored touchdown after touchdown. In the early part of the last quarter, we were ahead by 20 points! After what seemed like hours, the last quarter finally ended and I headed off on my 2-hour-long drive to get to my hotel. Bored out of my wits, I finally arrived and hit the bed.

The flight-The airport was about a mile away from my hotel so it didn't take too long to get there, but getting on the flight took FOREVER!
Finally, 2 hours later, I was sitting in my uncomfortable coach seats.
Have you ever just wanted to reach over and slap the hell of the flight attendant? I sure have. When she was walking down the aisle, I addressed her and asked for a beverage. She said she would have one for me shortly. I waited half an hour before she got back carrying no drink in her hand. She wasn't even coming toward me, she went to another passenger and immediately got him a drink! I addressed her again and she said she would get one for me shortly.
I looked down at my watch and said, "But you said that half an hour ago!"
"Sorry sir, but I forgot!"
"Bull..." I replied to the attendant clearly lying through her teeth.
"Excuse me?"
"Nothing..."

That's all of Day 1 of my Disney World Vacation. I'll try to write every day. Read them. You will most likely find yourself wriggling on the floor laughing at my extreme misfortune!
